Fox is best known for being involved in one of the top 10 U.S. sex scandals.
Her original name is Annabelle Battistella and was born in 1936 in Argentina. There is no information about her childhood and teenage years. According to many people, Foxe was well received even long before the infamous scandal.
She had an affair with Mills, who was considered to be one of the most powerful members of the U.S. House of Representatives. They were pulled by a park police, and Foxe fled the scene by jumping into the Tidal Basin. As a result, the incident attracted a lot of attention, and Mr. Mills resigned the post of a Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.
Carol Doda (1937-2015)
Carol Ann Doda was born in San Francisco, California and is best known for being the first public topless dancer.
She attended the San Francisco Art Institute and worked as a waitress in order to support herself. Later, Doda worked as a lounge entertainer at the Condor Club in San Francisco.
There is no secret, that her topless dance attracted a lot of customers to the club. Later, she performed bottomless or completely naked, an act which became prohibited in 1972, due to the rule passed by the California Alcoholic Beverages Commission.
Encouraged by her huge success, Doda decided to enlarge her breasts from size 34 to 44 with silicone injections. Her breasts were nicknamed “the new Twin Peaks of San Francisco”. After several court appearances, Doda retired from stripping and opened a lingerie shop in San Francisco.
Dita Von Teese (1972)
Heather Renée Sweet, known as Dita Von Teese, was born in 1972 in Rochester, Michigan. Dita is a burlesque dancer, vedette, stripper, model, entrepreneur and occasional actress, as well as a costume designer. She is famous for her passion for lingerie and fascination with burlesque, 1940s cinema and vintage style.
As a child, she trained to be a ballerina, an experience she later used in her performances. Dita is considered to be the “Queen of Burlesque”.
Some of her most popular acts involved a carousel horse, clawfoot bathtub and her signature – the giant martini glass.
Dita has appeared in several music videos, magazines, and films. She was married to the singer Marilyn Manson.
Diablo Cody (1978)
Diablo Cody (Brook Busey-Maurio) was born in Lemont, a suburb of Chicago and is an author, screenwriter, journalist, former stripper, and exotic dancer. She is best known for her excellent writing, with an Academy Award won for screenwriting.
Her amateur stripping career began at a Minneapolis strip club caked the Skyway Lounge. It seems that Cody loved and enjoyed being a stripper because she quit her job and become a full-time stripper. She also took part in some peep shows at Sex World.
Cody wrote a memoir called Candy Girl: A Year in the Life of an Unlikely Stripper, where she tells about her stripping experience and career.

She was crowned Reigning Queen of Burlesque and Miss Exotic World 2010 at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and was named one of the hottest modern burlesque performers.
As a child, Roxi studied gymnastics and trained aerial acrobatics. Later she studied graphic design and worked as a dancer in a couples club.
